RICHMOND — Sydney Tilton and Kelsea Anair each had a double-double to lead Richmond past Buckfield 49-34 in East/West Conference girls basketball action Friday.

Tilton finished with 15 points, 15 rebounds and three steals for the Bobcats (12-6) while Anair added 18 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks.

Buckfield (7-11) was led by Alexis Bennett with 12 points.

BOYS BASKETBALL

LINCOLN 43, ERSKINE 36: Trevor Browne scored 12 points for Erskine in a loss to Lincoln Academy in South China.

Austin Johnson added 11 points for Erskine, who finished the season with an 0-18 record.

Devin Scherer and Travis Creamer each scored nine points for Lincoln (12-6).

RICHMOND 59, BUCKFIELD 32: Zack Marseglia had 14 points and 19 rebounds to lead the host Bobcats to the East/West Conference win.

Zach Small added 12 points for Richmond (11-7) while Cody Tribbet chipped in 10 points.

Buckfield (5-13) was led by Tyler Vallee with 10 points.

BOOTHBAY 64, WINTHROP 44: Evan Hepburn scored a game-high 20 points to lead Boothbay to a victory that clinched the top seed in Class C West.

Julian Aponte and Jacob Leonard added 10 points apiece for Boothbay (16-2). Anthony Owens and Ben Allen led Winthrop (15-3) with seven points apiece.

ICE HOCKEY

MESSALONSKEE 4, BANGOR 2: Jared Cunningham scored two goals and assisted on two others as Messalonskee avenged its only loss of the season with a win over Bangor at Sawyer Arena.

Brandon Nale and Jake Dexter scored the other two goals for the Eagles (13-1), who recorded their 11th consecutive win. Elija Tuell made 25 saves in net. Brennan Cane and Coleman Pray scored for the Rams (8-4-1), who beat Messalonskee, 6-1, earlier in the season.
