I fully support Gary Mahler’s candidacy for selectperson in Belgrade.

Gary is a highly intelligent, straight-speaking, direct individual. He is a fiscal conservative, but he has a concern for those in our community who need some help. Gary serves on the Belgrade Board of Appeals, is a member of the town budget committee. He also has served on committees in his church, has been an active member of the board of United Way and is chairman of the Maine State Museum Commission.

A 21-year Navy veteran, Gary has a deep love of his country and his community.

Because of his involvement and knowledge of the Belgrade town government, Gary will be an excellent member of the Select Board. I urge others to join me in voting Gary on March 20.
