Bowdoin College

BRUNSWICK — Bowdoin College held its 19th annual Honors Day ceremony May 6, 2015, in Kanbar Auditorium, Studzinski Recital Hall, to recognize the academic accomplishments of Bowdoin students and faculty.

Christian Heath, of Gardiner, a member of the Bowdoin College class of 2018, received the Earth and Oceanographic Science Department’s 2015 Earth and Oceanographic Science Book Award. Heath’s major is undeclared.

Abby Roy, of Waterville, a member of the Bowdoin College class of 2016, received the Education Department’s 2015 Dorothy Haythorn Collins Award. Roy’s major is sciology and a minor in teaching.

Helen Mohney, of Gardiner, a member of the Bowdoin College class of 2015, received the Visual Arts Department’s 2015 Anne Bartlett Lewis Memorial Prize in Visual Arts. Mohney’s major is sociology and visual arts .
