I propose the formation of a new political party to end the partisanship in Maine. It could be called the Bash Brothers Party, with Donald Trump as its candidate for president, and Paul LePage for vice president.

If Trump and LePage campaign nationally for the next 18 months, then they will be out of the state for long stretches of time. This will lower tempers in Augusta, since LePage’s temper will be on the road.

In terms of their strengths and qualities: These men speak their minds, they are not bashful, they love to bully, and their policies make no sense, but they do not recognize it. Finally, apparently they enjoy to joke about shooting people who disagree them.
