FAIRFIELD — Derek Bowen picked up the win on the mound and scored the go-ahead run in the bottom of the fourth inning as Post 51 picked up a 5-2 win over Brewer in an American Legion contest played at Lawrence High School.

Jonathan Wilkie paced Post 51’s (5-1) offense with a single, double and four RBIs, while Jake Dexter and Bowen each finished with three hits.

Logan Rodgerson had a double for Brewer (4-2) in the loss.

FRANKLIN 4, BRUNSWICK 3: After Brunswick (2-6) tied the game in the top of the seventh, Franklin (7-1) plated a run in the bottom half of the inning to score a walk-off win.

Jake Davenport had a single and double in the win, while Ryan Pratt, winning-pitcher Amos Herrin and Thomas Wing each chipped in with a pair of singles.

Zach Meggison had four hits — including a double — for Brunswick.
