A wildfire that broke out Monday afternoon off Murder Road in Topsham burned about 4 acres of forestland, according to the Sagadahoc County emergency dispatcher center.

Five towns responded to the fire, which was reported at 2:38 p.m. No homes were damaged and there were no injuries reported.

The Maine Forest Service said on its Facebook page that the Topsham fire was one of three wildfires reported Monday. The others were in Bradley and Greenfield Township.
