I am writing to thank Cheryl Harrington for writing a letter on July 18 regarding the Bizarro cartoon.

As a fan of the crossword and Cryptoquip puzzles, I usually don’t pause to read comics, other than the occasional Peanuts. Now, however, I am enjoying Bizarro before beginning the puzzles since it’s been pointed out to me. I have even been known to take a photo of the comic to post on my Facebook page.

Thanks for the heads up and I hope to keep reading Bizarro in the newspaper. Why should something be canceled because a few people don’t like it? I don’t read the stock exchange information but would not call for it to be canceled. How silly, bizarre.
