When the status quo doesn’t work, don’t blame somebody else when they try a new approach.
People should ask themselves how much taxpayers money has been spent in Maine, including federal dollars in the last 25 to 30 years on treatment experts and their handholding approach.
Every day in our newspapers, we see are police logs full of drug-related activity and arrests. Let’s inform the ACLU and the massive healthcare treatment experts and their lobbyists if decades of throwing more money at a problem doesn’t work, let’s go after the source and the root of the problem. We need to respect the approach offered by Gov. Paul LePage, even though it’s common sense.
Pointed words for the criminals, not the therapists.
