We need to raise the minimum wage to a living wage.

If we raise the minimum wage, we will see this country’s shaky economy take off. We are really falling behind the other “civilized” nations, and that is almost entirely due to recalcitrance and special interests. I speak of Republican lawmakers, who should, instead, show themselves to be advanced, compassionate, and at least marginally humane, and raise our minimum wage!
