I will vote no on Question 1 (“clean elections” expansion) on Tuesday’s ballot for the following reasons:

• I do not want my taxpayer money to fund the campaigns for political candidates I do not support. I prefer to voluntarily provide money or services to only the campaigns of candidates I choose to support.

• A no vote will not change the current “clean elections” laws as they exist; therefore, individuals who like the current laws will lose nothing.

• A no vote will prevent the “clean elections” laws from expanding and increasing the amount of my taxpayer dollars that will be mandated to support political candidates I do support.

I urge others to join me in voting no on Question 1 on Tuesday.
