Shame on the newspaper for the outrageous political cartoon on Oct. 28 questioning the intelligence and sanity of Dr. Ben Carson.

You cannot be unaware that he has performed neurosurgeries never before attempted, with excellent results. He is a self-made man, who overcame life’s hardships seldom seen by most of us.

I have been a subscriber of your paper for many years and look forward to reading it each morning. I am not interested in smear politics, however, and I urge you to select your cartoons with discretion.

Just be aware that all your readers do not agree with such political smears.
