Being a supporter of local sports, I have a great enthusiasm for all Maine high school teams. I’m deeply disappointed in the newspaper’s coverage of Maine Central Institute’s athletic teams, in particular, the football team. It is undefeated for the second year in a row and one of the best in central Maine.

And MCI’s field hockey team is one of the best teams the school has had in years, and it’s in the playoffs.

The newspaper should distribute the wealth and give credit where credit is due.
