The community of Wayne celebrated the 240th birthday of the United States Marine Corps on Nov. 10 at the Williams House in Wayne. The group of 44 included a Marine Detachment from Brunswick, veterans from all branches of the armed forces and friends. After the cake cutting ceremony, speeches were made and a social hour followed to round out the evening.
