GARDINER — Christ Church Episcopal, 2 Dresden Ave., will hold a special evening prayer service at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, to remember all those who have died because of gun violence since the tragic shooting of 20 young children and six teachers at Sandy Hook Elementary School in December 2012.

This service will be part of a nationwide tribute in partnership with the Newtown Foundation and Faiths United to Prevent Gun Violence. All members of the community are invited to come together in prayer and contemplation and ask ourselves what we can do to begin to reverse this epidemic that is sweeping this country.
