CANAAN — Nomination papers will be available Monday, Dec. 21, at the Town Office for the following positions: Two selectmen/assessors, one-year term; one road commissioner, one-year term; and one School Administrative District 54 School Board member, three-year term.

Nomination papers must be returned to the town clerk by 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, with no less then 25 and no more then 100 signatures.

The Canaan Municipal annual Town Meeting is set for 9 a.m. Saturday, March 19, at Canaan Elementary School.

Municipal elections are set for 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, March 21, at the Town Office for the positions listed above.
