VASSALBORO — Kevin and Celeste Levasseur, of Vassalboro, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Haley Levasseur, to Sam Smith, son of Scott and Kristen Smith, of Winslow.

Haley, of China, is a 2010 graduate of Winslow High School and a 2013 graduate of Kennebec Valley Community Colllege. She is employed as a physical therapy assistant by Windward Gardens healthcare facility in Camden.

Sam, of China, is a 2010 graduate of Winslow High School and a 2014 graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington. He is employed as a fourth-grade teacher by Winslow Elementary School.

An Oct. 15, 2016, wedding is planned.
