RANGELEY — The Wilhelm Reich Infant Trust of Rangeley recenlty received a grant from the Efroymson Family Fund of Indianapolis for $13,000.00 to repair an essential roadway at the Wilhelm Reich Museum, Mary Boyd Higgins, executive director of the trust, said in a news release.
Last winter’s runoff and the heavy rains this spring washed deep grooves in the road. Drainage ditches were dug but the road continues to wash away, is nearly impassable, dangerous, and must be repaired before the 2016 season. This gift makes possible the necessary work and the Trust is deeply grateful. The Efroymson Family Fund, a donor-advised fund of the Central Indiana Community Foundation, continues a long legacy of charitable commitment by the Efroymson family in central Indiana. The Efroymson Family Fund was established in 1998 by Dan and Lori Efroymson to promote the viability of communities and to date has awarded more than $88 million in grants in central Indiana and beyond.
