Professor Michael Donihue and Susan MacKenzie, PhD of Waterville, joyfully announce the engagement of their son, Colin M. Donihue to Claire E. Santoro, daughter of Ms. Barbara Santoro of St. Louis, MO and Dr. Samuel Santoro of Nashville, TN.
Colin is a 2004 graduate of Waterville High School. He graduated from Carleton College in 2008 with a BS in Biology and from The University of Michigan in 2011 with a MSc in Conservation Ecology. He completed his PhD at Yale University in Conservation Ecology in Feb 2016. He will begin post-doctoral studies at Harvard University in June 2016.
Claire earned her undergraduate degree from Brown University in 2009 with a double major in Environmental Studies and Economics. She completed her MSc in Sustainable Energy Systems from The University of Michigan in 2011. She is Senior Associate at Industrial Economics, Inc. in Cambridge MA.
A July 10, 2016 garden wedding is planned at Mass Audubon’s Habitat Education Center and Wildlife Sanctuary in Belmont.
