CANTON, N.Y. — Five local students received St. Lawrence University degrees during commencement ceremonies held May 22.

Courtney E. Bowen, of Benton, earned the degree of bachelor of science cum laude and majored in economics-mathematics. Bowen is a Lawrence High School graduate.

Erica N. Dailey, of Union, earned the degree of bachelor of arts magna cum laude and majored in anthropology.

Dailey Carl R. Mayer, of Winthrop, earned the degree of bachelor of science and majored in biology. Mayer is a Kents Hill School graduate.

Louisa M. Stancioff, of Chesterville, earned the degree of bachelor of science cum laude and majored in psychology and music. Stancioff is a Mount Blue High School graduate.

Steven T. Yardley, of Farmington, earned the degree of bachelor of arts cum laude and majored in English and music. Yardley is a Mount Blue High School graduate.
