Wayne Community Church, Old Winthrop Road, will host its annual Live/Silent Auction and Celebration July 7-9 in Wayne.

The auction will begin with an Opening Celebration/Dessert Extravaganza from 7 to 9 p.m. July 7 at the church. A live auction will be conducted by guest host Craig Miller, meteorologist at Channel 13. Silent auction bidding hours will be held during the celebration.

The silent auction will wind down July 9, with hors d’ oeuvres and entertainment beginning at 3 p.m.

Ssilent auction bidding and viewing also will be from 9 to 11 a.m. and 4 to 7 p.m. July 8 and 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. July 9. Buy-it-Now prices will be available during all silent auction bidding times.

The silent auction will ends with entertainment and hors d’ oeuvres from 3 to 4:30 p.m. on July 9.

The silent auction closes at 4:30 pm. Pick up of auction items will be between 6 and 8 p.m.

This year’s silent auction will include getaways in Maine, Virginia Beach, two night stay and show in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and beyond. Also gift card from restaurants from central to coastal Maine, memorabilia including one-of-a-kind items such as an autographed Xander Bogaerts Aruba/Red Sox baseball cap, autographed baseball bat from David Ortiz and baseballs from Hall of Famers Johnny Bench, Cal Ripken Jr., Reggie Jackson, tennis ball signed by Jimmy Connors, and autographed basketball and footballs by pro athletes in these sports. Many entertainment options will be available, as well as specialty foods, services, golf outings, tours, handcrafted, and retail items from all over the state of Maine. There also will be Windjammer and local cruises, household furniture and silver, and Wayne produced artisan crafts, and goods.
