Winthrop Middle School recently worked with Project Linus. Students and staff incorporated this service project into the school’s Wellness Day celebrations, May 27. At the end of the day the group had 97 blankets to donate to the organization.

The school presented Merlene Sanborn, the Kennebec Project Linus coordinator, with the blankets and thank you notes during a June 6 assembly.
