Penobscot County sheriff’s detectives have charged 22-year-old Nicolas Spencer of Greenfield with manslaughter and aggravated OUI for a Feb. 24 crash in Milford that killed Spencer’s brother, Matthew, 28, and injured a second man.

The crash on County Road in Milford also injured 29-year-old Samuel Ketch, the sheriff’s office said Wednesday.

After a warrant was issued for his arrest, Spencer turned himself in to authorities Tuesday afternoon.

He is expected to appear in court Wednesday.
