I have recently conversed with several people whom I remember eight years ago were opposed to President Barack Obama since he lacked experience (only two terms in the Senate). These people today, obviously far right conservatives, are now in firm favor of Donald Trump. What hypocrites.

So, for all of you out there who wish to be conservatives like this, here are three easy lessons in how to be a conservative:

Lesson No. 1: As a conservative, you are never, never wrong.

Lesson No. 2: As a conservative, “compromise” means “capitulate” to you.

Lesson No. 3: As a conservative, you believe in the “new” golden rule: Whoever has all the gold makes all the rules.

No need to thank me; it is just a well-needed public service.
