AUGUSTA — Viles Arboretum recently installed several new and colorful signs in its botanical collection. The signs include some interesting and educational facts about the arboretum’s American chestnut collection, heirloom apples and the Daughters of the American Revolution garden. These signs are one of many new additions to the Arboretum’s trails, signs, labels and more.

The organization has an active and ever changing selection of programs for the general public and for schools available. The programs focus on interactive, creative and hands-on teaching with a focus on natural history.
