AUGUSTA — Gardiner walked off with a win in the final at-bat of Game 1 but Augusta bounced back and shut them out in Game 2 of an American Legion Zone 2 doubleheader Saturday.

Dalton Therrien, Nick Sanborn and Eli Fish all doubled as Gardiner rallied from a 4-3 deficit to win the opener, 5-4. Sanborn got the win on the mound. In the nightcap, Augusta jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning and went on to cruise to a 10-0 victory. Justin Rodrigue allowed just four hits to pick up the complete game shutout.
