Charles and Shirley Witham celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on July 2, 2016. A surprise party was held at the North Belgrade Baptist Church, which was given by a special niece, family and friends. The place was decorated beautifully with a light lunch and anniversary cake. Many family and friends attended.

The couple have two sons: Brian of Kentucky and Shawn and his wife Hollie of Benton. They also have six grandchildren: Natasha Witham, Ashley and Amy Booker, Stephen Koller, Tylar and Morgan Witham.

They were married on June 30, 1956 at the Fairfield Baptist Church. They reside at 146 Cushman Rd., Winslow, ME.
