FAIRFIELD — A Luck of the Draw is planned for 9 a.m. Friday, Aug. 6, at the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Proceeds will benefit the Somerset/Upper Kennebec Counties Area Program of the Special Olympics. Drawings are set for noon and food will be available.

Admission will cost $2.50 and will include one sheet of tickets. Tickets cost 50 cents per sheet or $5 for a book.

The 50/50 raffle will cost $5 for 18 tickets or $1 for three tickets.

There will be a door prize and free stuffed animals at the door.
