TROY, N.Y. — The following local students earned degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in May:

Victoria Butler, of Jefferson, earned a bachelors in applied physics, and Benjamin Congdon-Jones, of Waterville, earned a bachelors in chemical engineering.
