The Portland Police Department posted this surveillance photo on Facebook, showing the suspect leaving Dunkin’ Donuts with the victim’s cane.

Portland police turned to Facebook on Wednesday to help identify a man suspected of stealing a cane from a 75-year-old woman as she was ordering her coffee at a Dunkin’ Donuts.

In a post titled “Low Blow of the week,” police asked for help identifying a man in shorts and a yellow sweatshirt.

At some point police updated the post to indicate that the man in the picture had been identified, and that police were preparing charges against him. Police did not immediately disclose his name.
