The Windham Fire Department extinguished a small fire Sunday afternoon in a motel room on Roosevelt Trail.

The fire at the Northeastern Motel was reported about 2:30 p.m. and was contained to a single room, a dispatcher said.

No one was injured, and fire crews cleared the scene by 4 p.m.
