I first met Shenna Bellows at the Climate Expo held at the Augusta Civic Center in 2012, so I knew right away she was in touch with reality, not an unreasonable quality to expect in someone running for office.
Now, I’m one of the many supporters driving her door to door as she listens to the needs of as many constituents as possible in her bid for the state Senate seat in District 14, and my admiration has only grown.
She’s intelligent, hardworking, campaigning many hours per week while managing her business as consultant for nonprofit organizations, and she understands peoples’ concerns in a changing world. She knows well-paying jobs and environmental sustainability are compatible, and she will support the new technologies and the jobs that will carry Maine into the future.
