I note with puzzlement that the city of Gardiner is erecting a gateway sign at the interstate. I hope Gardiner’s public works department cares to keep it clean; all the others in Gardiner have been filthy for years. Also, there is an area in downtown Gardiner that’s needed road patch for years.

Does Gardiner’s city manager, Scott Morelli, have a plan to attract businesses to a slum town?
