After reading several articles in the newspaper about the voicemail Gov. Paul LePage sent to Rep. Drew Gattine, D-Westbrook, I’m glad LePage said he won’t resign. Just because someone gets angry and swears, that does not rise to the level for impeachment.

If you think politically correct, prim and proper, bleeding-heart liberal Democrats and Republicans haven’t at some time thought the same thing or worse that Gov. LePage has said, think again. Saying it and thinking it are two different things, but everybody does it. If someone says they don’t, they’re liars and hypocrites.

Thank you, Gov. LePage, for not resigning and for having a backbone and saying things others think but don’t dare to say.
