On Nov. 8 I will be voting for Shenna Bellows to be District 14’s next state senator. Bellows was raised in Hancock, in a family whose parents struggled to make ends meet. She graduated with honors from Ellsworth High School and went on to study biology and public policy in college.

As a result of her own experience, Shenna understands the importance of education. She will work hard to make excellent schools a statewide priority so that all our kids have the opportunity to succeed. Driving door to door as Shenna meets voters in our district, I have been impressed by her optimism, work ethic, and compassion. We would be lucky to have Shenna Bellows represent us in the Senate.
