I support Jill Ducharme, a candidate for House District 76 (Belgrade, Fayette, Mount Vernon, Rome, Vienna and Wayne).

As an independent voter, I review the issues and candidates carefully and objectively each election to make the best possible choice as I see it, and I believe that for Belgrade, Ducharme will do a superior job in the House than her opponent, who seems to vote purely the party line.

Ducharme is interested in supporting and improving access to high-quality education, a topic that is of high importance to my family. Jill’s thoughtful approach to complex questions, her willingness to listen, her objectiveness, and her ability to work with others is apparent from even a brief conversation.

These and other qualities will be invaluable in the House of Representatives and should assure her success there.
