I encourage voters in Senate District 3 to re-elect Rod Whittemore on Nov. 8. Rod as a lifelong resident of Skowhegan, a family man, and small-business owner who understands the needs of our area.

During his six years in the Maine Senate, Rod has worked tirelessly for his constituents. He has been a strong advocate for job creation, lowering taxes, reforming health insurance, and responsible welfare reform. Rod is well-respected by his peers and is chairman of two committees, Insurance and Financial Services as well as State and Local Government. I am proud to call Rod Whittemore my state senator.
