I’m voting for Patsy Crockett for Kennebec County commissioner because of her many years of service to the community and because of the good work she has done since being appointed in March to fill the vacancy created by the passing of Beverly Daggett. She also brings 11 years of valuable experience from her previous work with the Association of County Commissioners. It’s rare to have such pertinent experience in a new commissioner, but Crockett has hit the ground running and is working on important issues such as the opioid crisis, and the need for additional bed space in the jail. She has earned my vote.
