With deep local roots and a breadth of experience that sets him apart — selectman in Manchester for 10 years, college professor and efficiency analyst at MaineGeneral — Jeremy Pare is the sort of leader we need to help our county continue to move ahead. He will offer a fresh perspective and clear-eyed view on the issues. Whether it is property taxes, the pain of drug abuse, or issues of prison overcrowding, Pare will work with people on all sides of these complicated issues and seek answers that really work.

Pare has been out knocking on doors and speaking to groups all around the county. He has listened to people share their concerns and their hopes. We need a commissioner with that sense of purpose. We need a commissioner who will work tirelessly to encourage progress in the part of Maine we hold so dear.
