A vote for Sen. Rodney Whittemore is a vote for reason, common sense, and experience. A native of Skowhegan, his experience and knowledge is needed now more than ever. Chairing both the Insurance and Financial Services and the State and Local Government committees in Augusta, he has the confidence of his peers. He’s also busy meeting the needs of his district, such as when the Madison mill closed and the floods came to the Parlin Pond area. He’s dedicated to education, visiting public, charter, and home-schooling groups. He and his wife, Coralee, taught a youth ministry for seven years. He also runs his own small business.

Rod was recently awarded the 2016 Health Care Innovation Award for his efforts to lower health care costs. Whittemore listens and has a genuine interest in the needs of his constituents and puts them first.
