A Colorado man accused of transporting child pornography pleaded guilty Monday in U.S. District Court in Portland.
U.S. Attorney Thomas E. Delahanty II said in a press release that Anthony Derrico, 36, of Grand Junction, Colorado, pleaded guilty to transporting child pornography.
According to court records, Derrico, who is employed as a truck driver, began posting child pornography images to an online chat group, eventually sending three child pornography images to a federal agent based in Maine.
Derrico, who was indicted on June 22, faces between five and 20 years in prison, between five years and life on supervised release, and a $250,000 fine. He will be sentenced after a presentence investigation has been completed by the U.S. Probation Office.
