A letter to our president-elect: Please, please, I beg of you, take our governor. He is just like you, he has the same attitude toward the truth as you do, his vocabulary is extremely similar to yours, and his knowledge and understanding of how democracy works cannot be more like yours.

He is definitely one of your people so you surely must have a position in your administration that would fit his talents. He’s all yours, because some of us in Maine are getting really tired of him.
