My experience interviewing Mr. Mclead, a veteran at the Cole Land Transportation Museum, was very cool. When I interviewed him I realized how much veterans work to protect America’s freedom. For example, he told a story about a pilot he was flying with dying when the plane stalled. They had to parachute out but the pilot did not make it out in time. Veterans should be respected more because they did so much in war, fighting for freedom.
We did many activities with veterans at the museum. Along with interviewing veterans, there was a veteran panel at our school where more veterans told us about when they were in war. My favorite activity was interviewing Mclead, who helped me respect veterans more.
