I have been a subscriber to your newspaper for many, many years. Your newspaper has a liberal slant to it.

We had a presidential election on Nov. 8. The ground rules for both parties were: To be president-elect, a candidate had to have at least 270 Electoral College votes.

As I write this, it is more than 22 days since the election. All I see in the editorials and letters to the editor is whining, crying, gnashing of teeth and, “If I can’t play by my rules, I’m taking my ball and going home.”

The American people have spoken: Trump wins, Clinton didn’t. I’m going to reduce this view to the lowest common denominator: Get over it!
