FARMINGTON — The Franklin Memorial Hospital Auxiliary gift shop holiday family event planned for Saturday, Dec. 17, in the Bass Room, has been canceled because of the weather. Proceeds will benefit the FMH Auxiliary.

Goodies from Mrs. Claus’ kitchen, a “letters to Santa” table, coloring, games and crafts, a Holly Boutique, and visits with the reindeer are planned. Mrs. Claus will read “Reindeer Wish,” about a girl who wishes for a puppy, but befriends a baby reindeer and set out on adventures together, at 3:45 p.m.
