GARDINER — Logan Granholm scored 12 points and had seven rebounds to lead the Gardiner girls basketball team to a 58-31 victory over Cony in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A matchup Thursday night.
Leslie Stevens scored 13 points for the Tigers (7-2). Lauren Chadwick added nine points, while Leah Weymouth scored seven points and grabbed eight rebounds.
The Rams (0-9) were led by Allie Cloutier, who scored seven points. Mackenzie Lewis added six points.
WINSLOW 88, MARANACOOK 19: Heather Kervin scored a game-high 28 points and Paige Trask added 15 to lead the Black Raiders in a KVAC B game in Readfield.
Silver Clukey scored eight points and Grace Smith had five points and eight rebounds for Winslow (7-1) as well.
Grace Depres scored 11 points to lead the Black Bears (0-9).
WINTHROP 52, WISCASSET 16: Kena Souza scored 12 points to lift the host Ramblers to the Mountain Valley Conference win.
Aaliyah Wilson-Falcone added 11 points for Winthrop (4-4).
Hayhlee Craig led Wiscasset (1-10) with seven points.
MONMOUTH 56, HALL-DALE 22: Abbey Allen scored 12 points to spark the Mustangs to the MVC win in Monmouth.
Tia Day added 11 points for Monmouoth (9-2) while Kaeit Butterfield chipped in seven.
Hall-Dale (0-11) was led by Ellie Decker and Cat Kincaid with six apiece.
BOYS BASKETBALL
MESSALONSKEE 61, LAWRENCE 55: Nate Violette scored 17 points to lead the Eagles to a KVAC A victory in Fairfield.
Cole Wood scored 13 points, while James Kouletsis and Griffin Tuttle each added seven points for Messalonskee (7-3).
Mason Cooper led Lawrence (2-8) with 33 points. Brandon Hill chipped in with 12 points.
HALL-DALE 71, MONMOUTH 47: Alec Byron led four Bulldogs in double figures in the MVC win in Monmouth.
Jett Bowyer added 14 points for Hall-Dale (8-2), while Alex Robert had 12 points and Tyler Nadeau 11.
Hunter Richardson paced Monmouth (3-7) with a game-high 19 points in the loss.
BOOTHBAY 69, OAK HILL 57: Cohen Donnell scored 17 points for the Raiders, who fell to the Seahawks in Wales.
Evan Boston and Marcus Bailey each added 14 points for Oak Hill (6-4).
Kyle Ames led Boothbay (6-4) with 27 points.
