ROCKPORT — Hunter Mercier buried four 3-pointers on her way to 21 points, helping Lawrence High edge Camden Hills 55-54 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A girls basketball game on Saturday afternoon.
Cameron Caldwell had 13 points for Lawrence (12-6), and Molly Folsom added nine.
Charlotte Messer had 17 points to lead Camden Hills (11-7), and Mara Dostie scored 13.
BOYS BASKETBALL
LAWRENCE 66, CAMDEN HILLS 51: Mason Cooper scored 29 points to lead the Bulldogs in a KVAC A matchup in Fairfield.
Brandon Hill added 17 points for Lawrence (4-14), and he and Cooper hit three 3-pointers apiece. Braden Ballard had eight points.
Noah Heidorn had 20 points and Devon Vangel had 13 for the Windjammers (5-13).
