Things got a little wild in Berwick on Sunday as a “rather large pig” romped around town and rocked a police cruiser, police said.

In a lighthearted Facebook post, Berwick police said the pig was running on Hubbard Road and they were trying to locate the owner.

“We’re not sure if it’s running away from home or trying to find home,” police wrote. “This pig is too large to get in the cruiser, but did chase a bystander into the cruiser.”

The pig was eventually returned home with some help from town residents and friends of the owner.

“The pig was not injured, even after rocking a cruiser,” police wrote.
