HALLOWELL — Brian Ayotte, of Hallowell, has been selected as the 2017 Old Hallowell Day artist, according to a news release from the Old Hallowell Day Committee. His colorful graphic design, Structural Harmony, will be featured as the OHD poster print this year.

In Ayotte’s own words, the design is “a tribute to the resilient spirit of Hallowell through a fastidious reimagining of several of its most celebrated buildings and landmarks.”

The artwork will be revealed at a meet the artist gathering at 5 p.m. Friday, June 16, at Easy Street Lounge. The public is invited, and poster prints will be available for sale and signing.
