There is a lack of handicap access to many of the medical offices on Kennedy Memorial Drive in Waterville.

I have to use a walker all the time. Many of the doctor’s offices are on the second floor or sub-floor via stairs, which are impossible to get to with a walker. Wonder what patients do if they are using a wheelchair to get to their doctor’s via the steps?

In addition, all the handrails on the step are vertical about six inches and very difficult to grab hold of, so prone to falls on the steps.

Handicap access to all medical providers should be accessible and required.
