A section of Route 25 was closed for several hours Monday morning as crews replaced a utility pole damaged in a car crash.

The driver of a vehicle traveling east on Route 25 around 7 a.m. attempted to yield to an ambulance by pulling off the side of the road, but hit a soft shoulder and lost control, said Gorham Deputy Chief Christopher Sanborn. The car hit and damaged a utility pole near Wood Road.

Sanborn said no one was injured in the crash and the driver is not facing charges.
